Filinvest Land unveils new City di Mare
AS 2014 came to a close, Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) introduced the new master plan for City di Mare, a 50-hectare community located at the South Road Properties.
At the event last Dec. 16 were Cebu City Mayor Mike Rama, FLI’s chief executive officer Josephine Gotianun-Yap, hospitality assistant vice-president Francis Gotianun, senior vice-president Joy Polloso and head for the Vis-Min cluster Tristan Las Marias, who held a press briefing and also unveiled the development’s scale model.
Envisioned to become Cebu’s next lifestyle hub, City di Mare will be a fusion of low to mid-rise residential, office, commercial and recreational projects. The sprawling property is also designed to be a pedestrian-friendly community, as 60 percent of its total land area will be dedicated to greenery and open spaces such as parks and walk ways.
Its flagship leisure component, Il Corso, is set to introduce a new dining concept this year. Situated in the seaside portion of the property, it will soon be the home of retail shops, department stores, cinemas, dining concepts and an amphitheater.
City di Mare is FLI’s biggest development in Cebu yet — a testament to how the nationwide real estate firm has grown since launching their first project in the 1960s incidentally a residential subdivision located in Cebu as well. (FSE)
