BMW X models in show of force on Cebu City’s hilly roads

A CAR brand that’s known for prestige and powerful performance, BMW reinforced that image as it took its X models for a test run along the hilly, winding roads of Busay earlier this month. Participated by motoring experts and media professionals, the event served as reminder why the brand remains ahead of its game up to today.

Alll eyes were on the road as the five models cruised past in effortless style. Included in the test run were the X1, X3, and X5, which BMW has dubbed as sports activity vehicles (SAV), and the X4 and X6, which are the sports activity coupes.

Seng Thiew Seow of Autowelt Cebu, the exclusive BMW dealership in the region, said that X series carries varying features that can cater to all kinds of lifestyles, be it for casual city driving or off-road adventures. Superior performance, engine efficiency and sleek style are a given in each model, plus premium features such as BMW’s TurboPower Technology and built-in iDrive system. Talk about impressive automotive engineering complemented with contemporary aesthetics.

To easily distinguish each model, a rule of thumb is that the higher the number, the bigger the size and ultimately has more features. Each model boasts of own highlights: for instance, the X1 and X3 are regarded for high performance at fuel-efficient consumption, the X5 for superiority in size and sophistication in the SAV segment, and the X4 and X6 as pioneers in combining SAV functionality with coupe aesthetics.
