MYOH 2014: Viva Brasil!
HAVAIANATICOS gathered once more for the annual Make Your Own Havaianas celebration. Held from Aug. 1 to 3 at the Ayala Activity Center, this year’s MYOH went back to its Brazilian roots as its commemorative pair featured the traditional Bonfim, or Brazilian wish ribbons that are worn for good luck. Embellished creatively on the pair are the following wishes for its wearer: alegria (joy), diversao (amusement), empolgacao (excitement), euforia (euphoria) and felicidade (Bliss). Lastly, specially offered in Cebu was Vito Selma’s customized, heart-shaped CEB pin.
MYOH’s opening cocktails gathered a crowd of Cebu’s young movers and shakers, an atmosphere made even more festive with traditional Brazilian drum beats. (FSE)
