Celebrating Cebu’s best

Cebu’s best gather in one venue for just one night

HAPPENING tonight is one big event that celebrates excellence: the 1st Annual Party of Sun.Star’s Best of Cebu. Some 40 honorees will gather at the Oakridge Pavilion to showcase what makes them stand out, while invited guests will get to see, taste and experience Cebu’s best in one venue.

PARTY PLACE. The Sun.Star Best of Cebu 2013 party will be held at the Oakridge Pavilion, which won Best Function Venue.

As most of the participants setting booths are driven by the entrepreneurial spirit, the venue is expected to turn into a marketplace of ideas, inspiration and success stories, all of which should lead to a better appreciation of the products and services on display, but in a party atmosphere.

That being said, the 1st Annual Party of Sun.Star Best of Cebu is a fitting celebration for the pioneers, game changers and visionaries who were honored in a special issue of Sun.Star Weekend last December. In the words of Sun.Star president and general manager Julius “Jayjay” Neri Jr., the project was hatched “to pay tribute to what we believe is the best Cebu has to offer.”

The selection has generated much excitement in the entire community, so one can expect more categories and a longer list of honorees in the next edition. That makes sense as Cebu is teeming with excellence, all of which deserves to be recognized.

But tonight, the honorees of Sun.Star’s Best of Cebu 2013 deserve to party.
