Fine Filipino food at Marco Polo

MARCO Polo Plaza has brought back Sugbusog in Street Food Classics Dos, serving the best of Filipino traditional dishes and street food in a five-star setting. The Culinary Journey of the best local delicacies from lechon to kwek-kwek was offered with the international buffet spread at Cafe Marco from Jan. 10 to 20, just in time for Sinulog.

During the launch of Sugbusog, media partners and other friends of the hotel were invited to a street fair right in the high-ceiling lobby of the hotel, complete with games and prizes.

To add to the fun just like a local perya was a cock fight, a lively Sinulog dance presentation by the San Diego dancers, and the opening of a Sto. Niño exhibit featuring antique images of Cebu’s patron saint owned by private collectors.

Guests then enjoyed an evening of sampling expertly prepared local cuisine based on the recipes of culinary guru Jessica Avila.
