Sugar cookies by Cupkeyk N Art
Cupkeyk N Art is an online cake and pastry shop that specializes in creating customized fondant-topped goodies.
It is run by Jhea Baron, a former banker and now a full-time mom and cake artist, who displays her creativity and craftsmanship in the designs of her food products.
Jhea said she has always been artistically inclined since she was a child, also having taken up painting classes from renowned artist Celso Pepito.
So what better way to practice her skills than through something she also loves best — food?
This Christmas, she is offering sugar cookies cut and shaped to look like yuletide ornaments such as candy canes, snowman, Christmas balls, gingerbread man, poinsettia and the like. The cookies come in assorted boxes; a box of 12 pieces cost P150 while a box of 23 pieces cost P300.
Aside from the sugar cookies, which are a special offering this season, Jhea does customized fondant cakes, cupcakes and dessert buffets. (facebook.com/cupkeyknart)
