‘You’ve Been Facebooked!’

IN CELEBRATION of their 20th anniversary, it was only befitting that info tech business group Ng Khai hosted a performance of Cebu’s hottest, trending topic, the musical comedy titled “You’ve Been Facebooked.” The show was held at the Lakwatsa Resto Lounge at Engy Tech Bldg. last Sept. 28.

Written by Jude Gitamondoc and directed by Jingle Saynes, “You’ve Been Facebooked” pokes fun at how today’s generation is hooked to the social media site. Though comedic in nature, the musical also provides an educational side as it highlights pressing issues like cyber-bullying, and encourages the audience to shift to the “think before you click” mindset.

That evening’s main cast starred Mark Jude Tenedero, Bea Samson, Jacqueline Chang, Malaya Macaraeg and Clark Von Jolbot. Prior to their performance, the musical group, Junior Troubadours, stood as front act and did an enticing medley of today’s pop songs. (FSE)
